If time would just stand still

I just cannot believe our little fella is about to be a big one year old!!  Amos turns one on December 15, and I just want to slow time down.  He is growing so fast and LOVES to be outside!  He cries everytime I get him out of the car and pass his swing going in the back door, it hurts his feelings to have to come inside.  So we took advantage of some time outside in the leaves, and he loved it! 

He loves playing with his daddy!  

 There is nothing better than just spending a day with these two!  I am so thankful to the Lord for blessing us with this boy!  It has been a wonderful and trying year all in one, but we simply would not trade it for anything in the world!

Fall Fun!

Well it has been a while I know, and the ol' story "we're just so busy" seems to haunt us sometimes.  But it is mostly a good busy and I have put blogging to the side.  I love to read all the blogs out there and want to have something to look back at with our family.  So here it goes!
Let me first update about our little man Amos!!  He is 10 months old and just a busy body!! 
*He crawls everywhere and is into EVERYTHING!! 
*He has developed such a fun personality and he LOVES to wrestle around with his daddy, (the daycare teacher has said before that he was aggressive, I wonder why?) 
*He loves to eat and I mean eat like a man!  He is eating table foods now. 
*He has 6 teeth, 2 on the bottom and 4 on the top.
*He weighs 23lbs and 31 inches long. 
*Everything is dada and he is jabbering up a storm.
We are just having a ball with him!  Corey and I wonder what we ever did before him, I guess sleep really late on Saturdays! 
God has been so good to us.  I love this time of year, with Thanksgiving around the corner, because it reminds me to be thankful for all God has blessed us with.  Our cups runneth over.  It is the simple things that really matter.

Diving Into the Blogging World

I am going to try to keep a blog!  I enjoy reading friends blogs so much and I feel like keeping a blog will help me keep a "journal of our lives"!  It especially interests me now that we have a sweet little fella to keep up with!! 
The Bryan family began with a "cloud 9" experience.  Corey proposed to me on June 10, 2009 in a hot air balloon ride!!  What a suprise!!  Corey had told me that he had an Alabama football alumni reunion in Birmingham that he wanted us to go to.  He told me that it was a breakfast on the lawn and dress was casual.  So I didnt think anything of a very early morning trip to this "house" in Birmingham.  We were trying to find the "house" when Corey pulled into Bessemer airport.  I said Corey this cant be it; he then told me he wanted to suprise me and take me on a hot air balloon ride.  He said that a client owed him a favor and he flew hot air balloons and could only fly us this day.  Call me gullible but I still didnt think anything (the pilot played along the whole time).  I was just so excited to be going on a hot air balloon ride!!  I was going to make the most of this once in a lifetime experience.  So while we were way high in the air I was taking lots of pictures, looked over at Corey and he was down on one knee!   He asked me to marry him and I said yes!  (of course I had to say yes, he had me way up in the clouds in a basket!)  So the reunion, yes there was one just a week later!  I told Corey no more lies from here out Mr.!

We were married October 10, 2009 

It was such a blessed day!  After the wedding we spent a wonderful week in California visiting San Francisco, Big Sur, and Yosemite!

And just 6 months later we found out that we were expecting a baby!  We had no idea how much joy and love this precious bundle was going to bring to our family!
